a totally biased endorsement
Terror Firma would be my new favorite band even if I didn't get to have a special pre-release version of the EP played for me personally in my kitchen, and even if the 2/5ths of them I've met weren't so damn sweet. They are fierce and catchy-and-sometimes-jagged in a way that reminds me a little of Lack (like early Lack when Lack are not fucking it up), and sometimes you can hear Jacquie's Team Dresch hoodie jumper and god that makes me happy, and the lyrics are all "fuck yeah!" but often really funny at the same time, and sometimes there are pick slides! Did you know you can get custard in cartons in Australia? This is also true. I feel this may have something to do with the rulingness of the band, though which is cause and which is effect can only be speculation from this vantage point.
