I have not personally heard Distjej (yet), but Felix Havoc calls them "the best female band around today". He's got good taste.

"Distjej has only released one 7", a split with Diskonto. They split up after the release and they are very unlikely to start playing again. The record can be purchased from www.diskonto.org

The song "Right on, Lorena" was actually called "Ode to Lorena Bobbitt", but for some stupid reason Stefan, the singer of Diskonto changed it. Tessan wrote most of the lyrics to the songs."
