Mixed Up Class Playlist, February 2, 1999

Violinists Fritz Kreisler and Jascha Heifetz are commeorated in this program on the anniversary of their common birthday (Kreisler in 1875 and Heifetz in 1901).

As in previous years on Mixed Up Class, Groundhog Day is commemorated with a cinematic connection between the movie Groundhog Day used music from one of the variations in Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
