The final hour of this program commemorates the musical dynasty of the Duruflés, Maurice (1902 to 1986) and his wife, Marie-Madeleine Duruflé-Chevalier (1921 to 5 October 1999) with works composed or performed by them, as well as a brief taste of works by M. Durufllé's friend and pupil Jehan Alain and one of their contemporaries, Olivier Messiaen.
