Kisses and Lips

The bottom half of this program has references to kissing or other activities in that vicinity, in honor of Valentine's Day.

The first half, though, begins with music of Cornell scholar/performer John Hsu, who has spent much of his career with a combination instrument, the "Baryton", which is a cross between a viol and a small harp. The most significant composer of this music was Franz Joseph Haydn, which led Hsu to explore Haydn's more conventional symphonies as well.
