Of Kings

The end of the Christian liturgical year is marked with "Christ the King Sunday". The middle of this program therefore contains references to kings and coronations.

A side trip to Venice draws attention to a concert given by Magnificat, a Bay Area based early music ensemble, with the title "A Venetian Christmas", playing in San Jose, Berkeley, and San Francisco on December 1, 2, and 3, 1995. Also, the Stanford Symphony Orchestra receives special attention during the last hour of this program, to point out their concert on December 1.
