The band's own website - news, a nice concise list of politics and music links, lots of interviews, and eensy teensy fonts. (Like I can talk.)

Hiretsukan chez their record label, G7 Welcoming Committee. Wif MP3!

opinion on Invasive/Exotic:
Crazy chaotic metallic hardcore with dual female-male vox - but less formulaic than that makes it sound. There's something odd in here, an element of maybe Neurosis in the chord progressions and dynamics, and maybe a bit of DC hardcore (a la Circus Lupus rather than Fugazi) in the guitars here and there.... Great shit, anyway, and I'm not just saying that because my favorite Metallica song ("Creeping Death," if you must know) is apparently theirs too. (How much do I love it when bands w/girls cover Metallica? A lot, especially when they pull it off so smashingly.)

And oh, Hiretsukan, we hardly knew ye. Broke up already. But stay tuned to their website, they're putting together a new band....

Wait, hang on, back together? Say it's true, say it's true! The website makes no mention (except more of those coy hints about a "new band"), but other sources say they're playing the Mr. Roboto Project in March....
