MISSION

KZSU News works to provide radio programming for Stanford University and surrounding communities. The goals of KZSU News include making relevant and interesting programming, producing an auditory history of Stanford University, and having lots of crazy fun.

ABOUT KZSU NEWS

We are part of KZSU, a 500-watt non-commercial radio station operating at FM 90.1 MHz. Our facilities are located in the basement of Memorial Auditorium. The people here are hobbyists who volunteer our time and creativity in return for all the fun of radio broadcast. The News staff is a small group mostly composed of Stanford students, but we welcome everybody in our radio community to join.

JOIN KZSU NEWS

We welcome all members of the Stanford community to participate in the fun world of broadcasting. No experience required to join! Our staff includes undergraduate students, graduate students, even a high school student. If you've never done radio before, but you've always wanted to, being part of News is a great way to get some real experience. If you're interested in joining KZSU News, send an email to news@kzsu.stanford.edu and we'll send you more information.

Training
We have different levels of training to suit your needs, from being a staffer to being a producer of your own show. In addition, a weekly DJ Training class that cycles by the quarter teaches all the necessary basics.

PROGRAMMING

Our flagship show, Stanford Current, broadcasts Monday night at 6:30p - 7:00p. Tune in to hear perspectives on the world from Stanford students.

ARCHIVES

Our archives include old recordings and scripts. If you need anything, contact us to check for availability, and we can provide copies. You will be charged for production and shipping.
