critical opinion
Kinda cheesy hard rock - bargain-basement Queen with a few hints of Styx, but the guitars are a bit heavier than either. The sort of thing you could probably find a song or two to like (guilty pleasures, perhaps, depending on how guilt-prone you are), but listening to an entire album side made me feel grimy, like I'd just greyed my fingertips flipping through every record at Goodwill (and actually, if you're listening to this, you probably just did).
Mainly I mention them because they're the earliest band that I've seen where the only woman in the band is a guitarist - and really, the guitar is the best thing on here (though that could also be attributed to Mr. Gardner). And wow, the band is named after the keyboardist, that's pretty unusual too (though I guess Don Henley did it too, so that in itself does not make them cool, even though "Dixon House" is a way better name than Don Henley).
